Boy Kong will be creating an avian-inspired installation in front of guests at the Florida Bird Fest on Sunday, March 8th at the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens (633 Osceola Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789). Admission is free. The event runs 1-4pm.
Guests can then create their own bird-related art with free hands-on activities. At 1:30 p.m., join the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey’s interactive presentation alongside their feathered friends. Accompany Rollins College’s Dr. Leslie Kemp Poole at 3:00 p.m. as she illuminates the history of birding society and the battles of Florida wildlife conservation. Meet Winter Park’s Penelope the Peacock Princess and learn about the relationship between the peacock and Winter Park from the Winter Park History Museum.
